Comment:

I am looking for a website or information on the best quality CD-R blank media to burn data and music. I typically buy bargain store (Sam's Club, Walmart) only to burn a music cd or data cd to have it fail.
I have also replaced my burner with the new Plextor DVD-DL(reviews were great)and now I want to ensure the media is top quality. Most search results for CD-R reviews lead me to a webpage of a CD Blank manufacturer claiming theirs are the best. I also would like to know if my DVD Dual Layer feature requires special DVD's to burn dual layer and if i can burn dual layer with Nero 6.13?

TIA
DJMike

I've used all different types of media and have always had great results with Verbatim media which is the brand I usually get at Sam's.

Of course a slower burn will allow a deeper penetration by the laser, making deeper dots and dash's to the disc.

Have you heard of a brand called Soylent Green? I hear they are made a little differently.

You can avoid many of these Windows problems with Linux. Linspire eases the transition for new users
