Installed a game but graphics did not work correctly. Tried changing graphic settings a few times, rebooting after each change. After the last change and reboot, the startup screen started to flicker and then the monitor went black. Shutting down and restarting does not help. The power comes on, but no startup screen or anything appears even with the startup disc. The screen remains black.

I have heard that if the indicator light on the monitor is green then you are getting a signal from the computer. If the light is yellow then there is no signal. Cable or video card problem.
