Comment: I have the dreaded black screen after windows tries to boot. After vigorous searching, I have located the XP pro CD, but the authentication is nowhere to be found. Would a Vista home premium upgrade disc be able to install from booting by the CD at bios? I realize this is the XP forum and not the Vista forum, but the common occurance of this problem and knowledge of the members here should hopefully make this question relevant. Thanks,
