Comment:

After Windows Loads the Monitor displays a black screen.. If I move and click the Mouse several times the black screen disappears and the normal Windows Screen is displayed with everything running normal. I have tried using another mouse and have reseated the Video Card but the same problem occurs.

Try a System Restore to a time before this started happening.

Is it possible that you are too impatient? Have you tried waiting a couple of minutes?

Thanks, for all the replies.
I have:
1. Checked and rechecked the Screen Saver & Power Settings.
2. Waited for hours for the Black Screen to disappear.
3. Ran Online Virus Scans.
4. Used Ad-Aware & Spybot Search and Destroy.
5. Checked for altered and/or corrupt files using
SFC /SCANNOW.
5. Made sure no cd or floppy are in any drives while booting the P.C..
The Black Screen problem still occurs as described within my Post.

If you have an actual XP install disc, try a repair install:

try installing a new/updated video driver from the manufacturers site.

Also, go to the MSConfig and see what is running at startup...

I see geeky people.... wait.. that's my mirror!
