I have a dual boot with win7. each are on different hard drives. when i choose windows xp from the bcd, i get the boot.ini, so i choose my windows installation. after that, i get black screen and nothing happens. i tried safe mode, and it lists the drivers. it freezes at CLASSPNP.sys. i just recently got a new hard drive, and i cloned the hard drive from the old to new, deleted windows 7 from the new, and deleted windows xp from the old. i have them both plugged into my computer. any reasons for the black screen? how can i fix it?
