Greetings, I think I came across this problem in the past, but it's fix escapes the mind.I seem to be accumulating "Blank Bitmap Images"?! They all have the same "dimensions-1023x629, yet are Bitmaps, and preview is Blank. Also, each is 1.84 mb. I save all lot of jpegs, but rarely Bitmaps.Any ideas? Thanks -ez

I'm not sure if this may fix your problem, but have you tried clearing out your cache / temp folder? I had a similiar problem where I saved a lot of jpeg images, and over time I noticed that when I saved them they were showing up as bitmap files instead. I emptied out my temp folder, did a reboot, and everything was fine. I can't remember where I learned that from, but it seems to always work for me.
