Please I hope someone can help me with this.

When ever I turn on my computer the bios screen doesn't take up the whole screen.

Neither does the Windows starting screen or the Internet explorer screen,

It only takes up about half of the screen.

This is on a laptop.

And it was working perfectly until I turned it off at the wall one day without shutting down?

How would I get it so it takes up the whole screen like it once did..

If I Right click the desktop and click properties and under the settings tab lower the screen resolution to maybe 800 X 600, how do I get it to stay that way without having to fix it every time every time.??

Laptop screens, unlike CRT monitors, have a default resolution. With most laptops this is usually 1024 x 768. It appears your default has got itself set to 600 x 600 which is causing the display not to fill the screen.

You need to go into the BIOS and find a setting that sets the default display to LCD and 1024 x 768.
