I am playing a Nancy Drew game. It is difficult for me to play the game because I can't read the words on the screen. The words show up very blurry. Everything else works fine. I know Nancy Drew games are large file games. I have a XP and I had 192 MB of RAM. I upgraded the RAM to 719 MB of RAM but nothing changed. The words are still blurry. I am so eager to play this game. Someone suggested that I need to update BIOS. I think I have 0.99.00. The Product is SiS 760_M760. Software Version is 3.63. Video Memory is 64.0 MBytes. Any other suggestions?

Are the words in everything else clear?
Have you tried adjusting the monitors sharpness settings?

You don't need a BIOS update. Your video card sucks. You can try updating the graphics drivers but I doubt it would's worth a shot though. And make sure you have the screen resolution setup correctly for your monitor.

Your system has an AGP slot available, I suggest you take advantage of it & install a *real* video card.

Also, you could try running the game and your monitor resolution at different settings, you might get lucky and find a combination that works better.

The three most important things in computing:
1. Backups, 2. Backups and 3. Backups.
