Comment:

I had three hard drives installed.
Two appeared to be wearing out so I replaced them with one large drive.

Now I have two hard drives.

On startup the bios registers the CD drives then three hard drives but one is blank.

Why is still registering the hard drive I took out.

Is there something in the bios I should change?

thanks, in advance

Hi George

Go into the BIOS, and on the page where it has Pri Master, Pri Slave etc, set all the devices there to AUTO.
