You may need to attach a PS/2 keyboard to solve that problem (assuming your PC has a PS/2 keyboard port and you can find, buy or borrow a PS/2 keyboard).

You need to post the full model number of your computer. As stated by phil, you may need to use a PS/2 keyboard.

Some bio's have a choice to enable legacy usb. It may or may not help your case. Enable it or both if two choices and try again.

You may need to borrow or buy a PS/2 keyboard.

Hang up and live.
