bios flash failure

I lost power during a bios flash on an Asus p58oovm mobo. I can't get into the bios now. Do I need to send the board back to Asus?

Yep your screwed, unless you know how to manually resoder the bios chip.... This has happened to me once before, I had to get a new Mobo... Asus will charge you an arm and leg If it is not under warrenty, it it is then go ahead, if it isn't it would be cheaper to by a new, used mobo online...

Look at your Mobo manual. You can probably reset the jumpers for a fresh start.
