bios errors

ok i was updating my bios with patches from intels site and the patch ran fine. The comp restarted itself but before it booted itself it said something about checksum fail. So i pressed ctrlaldel to restart it and now the comp doesnt boot or anything. all it does is have a blinking underscore at the top left. If you guys have an idea on how to fix this id appreciate it. Thanks

On reboot, access the BIOS setup, and hitting the appropriate keys, Load Setup Defaults and reboot and see.

i cant access bios. Nothing loads. none of the keys on the keyboard do anything.

You can try to pull the battery from the board and reinsert it or see if you have a reset jumper on the board. If there is a jumper it should be on pins 1 & 2. You want to move it to 2 & 3 for a few seconds and then put it back on 1 & 2.
