Bing connection problem in any browser.

Specs: Windows XP
After cleaning out a virus/spyware, I can't connect to Bing in any browser. Tried resetting browsers. Went to windows\system32\drivers\etc. Hosts file- localhost. I've tried everything I know. Talked to 3 different techs and they are baffled as well. Any other ideas will be most welcome.

During the virus removal, was there any type of root kit detected/removed? Many times an error with direction is caused by a root kit. If its still possible can you post what was removed? It does not say in your post if you used a program, or if you did so manually. If an automatic removal service (malwarebytes, avast, antivirus) can you post the removal log?

On another note, can you open the browser you are using in safe mode or without add ons? If it is internet explorer right click and select start without add ons. then try bing, and google and see if either works.

I don't know if there was a root kit. I used AVG, Malware, Super Anti Spyware and CClean. Unfortunately I don't have the logs. I did try IE in safe mode. Still would not connect with Bing.

Run - Windows Repair Start at Step 1 & when you get to the final step, check/tick all the boxes.

"Unfortunately I don't have the logs"

Look here, this the only one that matters.

C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs

Copy & Paste the contents into your next reply please.
