My file download program, Blubster, can't play files back properly. The volume slider continually slides to zero. When I try to adjust from within Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices, the volume levels still slide to zero, then the Sound Adjustment boxes won't close. Is this A XP issue, or a sound card issue? (ESS Sound card).

Does this happen with the built in Blubster player or other media players..WMP or Winamp..or whatever you use ?

Have you run any AV scans and spyware scans?
