Comment:

I recently bought winXP Pro and want to put it on my comp. Now instead of just installing it I wanted to format the comp. first as it has been slowing down over the last two years and is driving me insane, I don't have anything on it I care about so I went ahead and tried to format, it wouldn't let me so I put in the winXP Pro cd and booted from that into setup, from there I tried to delete the previous partition and put a new one in and format, everything appeared to be going great the format went right up to 100% complete, then told me it couldn't format, now what??? I've tried everything, it tells me that the drive has errors on it but fdisk doesn't seem to be able to do anything for so what do I do???
