Comment:
I tried to uninstall netscape 4.2 from add/remove programs thing and this poped up and prevented me from doing so: ---------------- 16 bit Windows Subsystem ---------------- C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NET. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. ----------------
I have no idea what this means, but not only has it prevented me from uninstalling netscape, but from doing a bunch of other stuff as well. This is really starting to bug me, and help would be greatly apprichiated!!!

Dew, there are two main causes for this problem. First is there is Spyware on your machine that is causing this. You can install a Spyware detector/remover and remove the problem software, then replace the bad autoexec.nt file with one from a clean machine..
