I used to get memory dump messages so i did a memcheck nd found no errors. so i took 1 stick of 1gb memory out nd left it running for 2 weeks, no problems, i put in the second, didnt have a problem for a very long time, then it started again not that much but i would get bluescreen of death memory dump bla bla bla. i told my friend to take down any error codes, he was smart enough to catch me online and do a prnt screen. im not sure exactly wat the hell is wrong with it. i saw the codes had to do with xp, now ive also reinstalled xp like 3 times on it. im tryin to validate him a key to get updates as well hes a lil left back on them. anyways somebody please steer me to the right direction at least thank you for you time reading my post.

Need to error code to find out the problem. Just go to event viewer and see what the error code is. Jim R

Did you actually test the memory? Based on what you've said there is likely a problem there. www.memtest86.com Run each stick at a time for about an hour, then both together. Post back what you find. Obviously repetitively reinstalling hasn't fixed it. ou should also have SP2 installed, plus firewall on and an antivirus loaded before you even connect the cord to get on the internet. You will pick up maloware within seconds and will make troubleshooting more difficult.
