Is there a command to enable/dissable bidirectional printing support? One of my printers only works if bidirectional printing is off, and to make things more complicated once the PC gets restarted it's bidirectional printing has to be turned on than turned off for printer to work correctly. It gets frustrating when I try to print only to remember that I didn't do the procedure. It would be simplier to make a batch file that would run every time I log on. Cheers

Yes and it didn't help. Like I said I can print normaly once I enable than disable bidirectional support. Otherwise I need to reboot host PC to get the queued pages to print.

So none of those three workarounds is acceptable?

Mind telling us which of the two kind of parallel cables you are using - the "old" standard IBM Printer cable, or the "newer" IEEE-1284 bi-directional cable?
