Beta Directdraw???

Hi everyone,
im running this system:
Pentium 4 1.6 ghz 512 DDR ram Nvidia Geforce 3 Ti 200 Microsoft XP Home Edition
The problem is that a dialog box that reads, "Beta Directdraw expired, please update.", constantly pops up. It is quite annoying and Ive tried to search for the file with no luck. Ive also looked for updates on the web with similar luck. Can someone please help me with this problem. It would be greatly appreciated.

It is part of directx.
I would suggest going to Microsoft's website and downloading the latest version of directx.

type dxdiag in run box, check the version of your directx, i guess you are using a beta version of directx. i think intsalling the directx 8.1b will solve your problem, it is included in some games.
