What do you think is the best popup blocker out there right now?
Please post as many opinions as possible.
Thanks,

The best bet you have for getting rid of pop ups is yahoo toolbar. In my experience its worked best. Other then that Id recommend either upgrading to SP2 which has a pop up blocker installed, or switch to firefox browser 1.0

yahoo toolbar is good. the firefox blocker is pretty good too. I also like the yahoo anti-spy,it seems to find things adaware misses.

hi,
the xp sp2 popup blocker has yet to fail me.i tried a link i have that pops up 5000 boxes and not one got through.google has 1 ,msn has 1,aol has 1,.but i like the sp2 one.

I'm currently using the XP sp2 firewall.
Works pretty well. Before this I've always used and recommended Pop-Up Stopper: http://www.panicware.com/
Its still on my computer should the XP stopper fail!

The Mozilla browsers have a built-in pop-up blocker and also you will get much less spyware on/in your system (since Internet Explorer is the most popular browser many spyware apps are specifically designed for IE.)

I used to use a program called Pop-Down, btu all that does is keep any IE window from opening. You can set an okay amount, like if you only want 2 windows open at a time, but you could also press the Ctrl key. It can be a hassle, but I'd have to say the sp2 works best for me right now. Good luck!
I'm a Trumpet player, don't make fun of me...

Mozilla Firefox works great for me.
I also take advantage of SP2's IE popup blocker. Runs really solid.
I updated to SP2 by way of CD I ordered from MS. The process was surprisingly painless.
Not so much as a hiccup after updating to SP2.

the best pop-up blocker is.....Turn OFF your PC...haha! Just kidding of course but RichGu has the right idea...the IE pop-up blocker with SP2 works GREAT! I don't use an alternate browser though....I find them a bigger pain in the butt than IE
Good Luck!

Firefox works for me, also you can use the AdBlock extension to stop those annoying ads from Doubleclick etc. For IE the Google toolbar seems to work fine.
"I know that I'm mad - I've always been mad..."

If by the best, you mean a blocker that never allows pop-ups, then the Google toolbar works just fine.
