I need a good free anti virus program fully compatible with XP that doesn't spy on you.
Is there any such software?

AVG is about the only free one out right now, but the good news is that it works great. Just keep the virus definitions updated. There are usually one or two every week.

Avg does not work with Xp i suggest you go spend some cash and get Notron 2002. With xp AVG allows script virus and cookie viruses into your system.

Hi jewl,

Yes, you need a firewall. Try ZoneAlarm from zonelabs (www.zonelabs.com) Its free and good.
Other infos, please check at Security and Virus Forum (look at the menu at ur left hand, please)
