OS: windows xp
CPU/Ram: 1.6ghz 1g ram
Product: ibm thinkpad

Ok, this is really annoying and I can't find anything about this problem anywhere. Everytime you click something with the mouse or the pad the computer will beep. Its not the motherboard its from the speaders. I tried muting the sound and that stops the beep, but then there is no music! Any ideas?

Try what Jennifer recommended and set "Start Navigation" to "None"

I read through the accessibility options and cant find where to turn the beep off.

Figured it out! It was actually an accessibility option but it was in a separate section called track point accessibility. Thanks for the tips guys.
