Hi, i just put xp on my compaq presario 1235 laptop, and the battery meter will not show up, it only shows up as ON AC POWER, no matter what. It does beep when the battery is getting low. I have it set up as LAPTOP/PORTABLE but still, no battery icon in the systray. Any ideas where it went?
