Hello,
When I turn my computer off at nights, the light on my mouse stayed on, so I taken the batteries out and in the morning I put them back.
I thought the batteries last longer, but it don’t last very long and use Duracell.
Is it wrong taken batteries out, or should I leave them in the mouse? .
I appreciate your opinion please,

Vivere

I myself can't see too much difference in using a wireless mouse or a wired optical USB mouse (handling wise), I guess with wireless, the mouse gets lost alot easier...LOL

Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructions Glad to Help!

I have seen a wireless mouse advertised that sits in a recharger when not being used.

Taking the batteries out every night is probably not a good idea. Just the wear and tear is reason enough not to do it, in my opinion.

I agree with aegis in post 3 above. To preserve battery life, the mouse automatically enters power saving mode
when not in use.

Speaking of batteries, the manual for my wireless optical mouse recommended fresh Alkaline batteries.
