Start > Search > all file and folder > type the name of specific file or folder and click on Search.

thanks..but i need batch code to find more than one file exist in particular folder..and i need to display msg which file does ot exist..

Need just a little more info - will the folder always exist - will the files within the folder always have the same extension - approx how many files are to be searched for - what is the format of the filenames?

thank for ur quick reply..
ya the folder will always exist..and there will be more than 6 files to search .and it will be in .xls format or .txt format..the format will be dynamic

Sorry, can't help. If the filenames change there's no way of knowing which file to search for so no way to know which file is missing.
