Batch file to eject CD ROM??

Sir,

I want to create a batch file with a simple code to eject CD ROM only .... ... . can u gv a simple coding to create a simple batch file for that purpose, and a simple idea about that code that what is the purpose of a particular sentence.......

I am a teacher and my student want some description about that ....

You'll need to Google for this one, rather than looking for batch-programming. There is no built-in command to do such, so in the best case there is some programming tool that can do it.

Google on "tray". I had a tool on W98 that did just that, open and close the tray, but on XP it doesn't work anymore.

Is it me? Must be!
Every year the same batch files are requested in just about the same order and almost to the date.

If memory serves the next one is.
Find a few files and rename them in sequential order. Or is it add a mouse or color?

It can't be homework .......dos died right?
No wait it was music that died. Some stuff about American Pie and levys.

DOS is still taught.....maybe....SCHOOL?

Wish I had the time to do some more homework but I help the grandkids at night do theirs.
