Specs: Windows XP, 3.0 Duo Core
I'm trying to create a batch file to monitor ping response times. This batch file will run continously during the day & will output the date time & the ping results to a text file. The catch is, I need then entire output to appear in the text file on one line so I can import into Excel & parse it for analysis. I've tried the following but the output is on multple lines in the text file:

@echo off
echo %date% - %time% -
ping 4.2.2.1 -l 1500
@pingbat.bat

I've also tried the following, but it doesn't except the parameters of ping

@echo off
echo %date% - %time% - %ping 4.2.2.1 -l 1500%
@pingbat.bat

Please advise,
Alan

Sorry guys. I did some additional testing & found that when I run the batch file & direct the output to the text file, I'm getting the results I wanted. So disregard this post. Sorry for the inconvenience.
