Are you running a script to ping?

If so, it would help to see the script.

"This is not pinging unlimited"

No, it's pinging cnn.com

The site is arbitrary. The point is to show how to log the failure time.

Which is what you asked.

"Ya i want a script to run ping,if the ping fails automtically log the time in a text file."
