Batch file command

Microsoft Windows xp professional w/sp2

Specs: Windows XP
Hi,

I trying to create a batch file to execute some database queries through osql command. I wanted user to provide inputs through command prompt.
Following command worked
@ECHO OFF
echo Enter Name:
set /p BUName =

Echo Name - %BUName%

But now when I enter my name following is the output

Enter Name:
Ranky
Name -

Does anybody know what is the problem?

Don't you have to:

set /p BUName=


??

Yep. A space is a char.
