I am having a probelm, "access denied" which happened after I updated XP or Windows Internet Explorer. Worked perfectly before. I can run the file but can't set it up in Scheduler. Used update files on our server to my local machine as a backup. Want to run it from scheduler daily and have to do it manually. I get the "Acess Denied" message when trying to put it in Scheduler only and can run it manualy. Other change when I run it is the "Unknown Publisher" Security issuer box comes up (didn't before) and I choose "Run". Can anyone help?? Will deleting "Windows Validation Tool" {17492023-C23A-453E-A040-C7C580BBF700} from Hijack This help? Or do I need this file.
