I'm not sure why my first post got deleted, but if I am doing someting inappropriate, please let me know, as I will make sure not to do it again.
I have a batch file that opens Internet Explorer to specific scripts on my computer, and it only goes through the whole script if I close the IE window for each call to a different script. Is there a way to have the script open multiple IE windows without having to wait for the previous window to be closed?
Thanks.

Your original post in the DOS forum was removed - perhaps you missed the explanation? At the top of that forum's page is a description of its focus.
For a number of reasons, Windows questions are usually better addressed in the appropriate Windows forums.

Whoops, I actually didn't read the intro to the forum the before posting in there. My apologies. So this is the correct forum to ask this question, right? I'm talking about a batch file being run from a DOS(cmd.exe) window in Win XP Pro.
So is there a way to fire off a process in a batch file and immediately return to the batch file to continue with the next command in the batch file without waiting for the external command to complete?
Thanks so much for any advice!

I was just responding to your concerns over the deleted message. The command prompt emulation in XP superficially resembles 'Standalone' DOS, but there are a wider range of commands available, as well as a very different operating environment.
You question might be appropriate in Programming or here in WinXP - just not in the DOS forum. When in doubt, it's probably best to choose the forum for your OS

jboy,
Great. Thanks for the advice. So, back to my original question now, is there a way for a batch file to open an Internet Explorer window to run an ASP script, and have the batch file keep on running without waiting for the IE window to be closed before continuing?
Thanks,
Effervescent
