Bad Video Card?? Help

My computer is getting old and the memory is low but it always worked fine then all of a sudden it froze up I rebooted and then all of a sudden there is lines in the picture the picture is all funny looking.. I just turned it off and I am afriad to turn it back on.. It boots up fine but that is about it.. Please help

I tried a different monitor that did the same thing.. I will try reseating the card.. Any suggestion would be great!! This computer is badly needed for work.. :-(
