Bad Pool Error

OS: Windows XP
CPU/Ram: p4 2.8 775; 512 ddr2

i got BSOD/bad pool errors using XP. tested HDD, RAM, and video card and they are all ok (used them in a diff. comp and the errors didn't occur).

it's not a software issue as i have formatted and installed XP, yet I still get the errors.

i would get the error, for example, if i try installing a program.

temps are fine.

could it get a bad motherboard?

It's either a driver, or hardware. Quite possibly RAM or PSU. Probably not the PSU, though, 'cause you make the errors sound fairly consistent.
