Please advise me how can I fix the subject problem? I've used fdisk /mbr trying to fix it. But in Win XP the drive format is still raw. The drive content can be seen in DOS mode only.

Boot to your windows XP cd rom and choose to repair windows using the recovery console...

After you get logged onto the recovery console run the command

fixboot

This will create a new partition boot sector. Hopefully that will fix the problem. Good luck.
