Although some software from manufacturers like HP use Backweb apparently for some 'legitimate tracking', it is in my opinion a Bandwidth stealing spyware, and I don't like to keep it in my system.

If it gets into my system inadvertently and I find its presence during investigation for slow PC performance, I will immediately remove them.

To be sure it is not a co-passenger of Virus, Worms and other , I would suggest:
First, run one or both of these online Antivirus scanners
1. HouseCall Scan Now

Or

2. Panda ActiveScan

Next run spyware removers:

Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition 1.06
SpyBot Search & Destroy
M$ Antispyware Beta

and finally get rid of Backweb.
I found the following somewhere I cannot recall but saved in my collection of Spyware troubleshoots:
Find and delete the BackWeb folder, normally in (your windows drive):\Program Files.
• removal step 1: Terminate DLGLI.exe using Windows' End Task (CTRL-ALT-DEL) dialogue. It may show up as "Downloading Software..." or "Resuming Downloading of Software..."
• removal step 2: Use Find to locate DLGLI.EXE(WD Data Lifeline BackWeb Lite Installer) and delete it.
• removal step 3: Locate Iadhide3.dll and delete it.
• removal step 4: (Optional) Remove the entry from the StartUp folder.

Thanks Maadhurimn,
I tried all that and it still comes up. The search or find can't find anything.

"The search or find can't find anything."

If you have not already done:

1.Open "My Computer" from Desktop or whreever you have on your system

2. Open your Local Primary Drive [Example C:]

3. Click Tools> Folder Options..View tab
4.Under Files and Folders scroll down to Hidden Files and Folders and click and 'target' the circle of Show hidden files and folders
5. Apply>OK

6.Now repeat the search for DLGLI.exe etc for removal

If you have tried the Anti_Virus Online scanning, the 3 AntiSpyware programs listed before and followed subsequent troubleshoots with no joy, can you stick with this thread and give exact feed back for a comprehensive look?

If "Yes", please post the items in your Add/Remove Programs that you cannot readily associate with well known safe applications.

After that we will be going into the Registry.
