backup.exe not found

after i install a fresh copy of windows xp i notice that there wasn't back up, i have no idea how to restore it. any help with this will be greate!

in the system tools folder i expected to find the backup application

the point is that befoere re-installing windows i backed-up my documents, so after the install i tried to restore them, but the backup.exe wasn't there.

Cereate a shorcut and place it in the System Tools Folder:

C:\WINDOWS\system32

ntbackup.exe

On generic machines we have to run an install program that is located on the MS XP install CD to get NTbackup. It appears that you might have to do the same thing. If you have some Compaq CDs, you could look for it on them.

is the pro version, but i don't need it anymore, because i re-installed windows again, because i had some viruses problems and something else, but thanks anyway for all of your advices
