wpa.bak is just a backup copy of wpa.dbl. No wpa.bak? Just do this ...
1. Open command prompt. 2. Navigate to c:\windows\system32 folder. 3. type copy wpa.dbl wpa.bak 4. Close command prompt.
Problem solved.

may i ask a question here ? thanks :)
by backing up wap.dbl & wap.bak files, does that mean the next time you reformat, one simply copies those files back to the new install and THUS avoid the normal activation procedure (whether automatic or telephone) ?
or am i treading rocky waters here by asking that question lol
EDIT: the reason i ask is due to too many (legal) hardware changes this year, i have to "telephone activate" and its a HASSLE !! i asked the M'$oft CSO if i have to always "telephone activate" from now on, and she said yes !
