I have been using DriveImage to make an image of my C: drive on a regular basis. Has worked fine for me for a couple of years. I was able to retrieve individual files as well as doing a complete restore to my C: drive. However using the boot disk and reformatting my HD prior to restore was a risky business. Finally got caught with my HD reformatted and all of the backed up images were not usable.
So I had to start from scratch and rebuild my C: dive with the OS and all the other programs I run. Needless to say I need a different clone/ghost program. Any recommendations?

I use Acronis True Image. I am a software guy and needs to develop and design lot of softwares, web apps. I have loads of apps installed (most of them dev. tools). I cannot afford to install all of them again so I use this tool.

I recommend it.
