I do not know if this is the right place to be posting this message. I know that I am using the XP OS, which is why i am posting here. I am looking for a complete backup program, one that backs up the whole partition and not just the registry or other important files. The one that I currently use is a PowerQuest, and I really like it, except for the fact that it only allows me to backup the C: drive, (I have 6 different partitions). The program does this only because it is factory installed and hardware set, so I can't change the settings. I talked to the manufacturer, adn they said that. So, i am looking for a good backup program. I have looked at Norton Ghost, but is there a better program? If you own a Systemax brand computer, then you have this back up program, the utility is part of the tech-in-a-box program. I am looking for something that is basically the exact same. (restarts comp, boots its own image file, and runs the back up utility). The ones that backup when windows is running, i have had no luck with. Thanks for reading! George

For a good free imaging program try Drive Image xml along with a BartPE bootable cd. For more info click on the orange box in the upper right corner of this page(under My Computing.net).It's developed by runtime.org. hth, JB
