Comment:

hi, I tried without success to backup my PC using Microsoft advice link and the results were as follows :

(1) RUN - ntbackup.exe RESULT: not installed

(2) RUN - CDDriver:\valueadd\msft\ntbackup\ntbackup.msi RESULT : not installed

(3) RUN - DVD/CD-RWDrive(D:) RESULT: not installed

Are there any other way of searching on my PC for the Windows backup facility?

Many thanks for advice!

Did you use the Backup or Restore Wizard?

Start

System Tools
Backup?

hi again Jennifer, no I'don't seem to have Backup facility in the system tools list!

All that is listed in my System tools is :

Character Map
Disc cleanup
Disk Defragmentor
Files & settings transfer wizard
Scheduled tasks
System information
System Restore

that's all there is in that list.

Would there be another place I could check!

Many thanks for advice!

Maybe not as "professional" as other programs, but gets the job done (and free)...
