Before I wipe out my HD I want to backup my Outlook Express folders. According to the instructions folders are backed up with an extension .dbx. After following the instructions for backing up, I searched for the file but can't find it.

Has anyone had experience in backing up these folders (Inbox, Sent Items, Outbook, ettc) and how did you manage it?

Paul

I usually keep these files on a different partition.

Under Options and the Maintanence tab you can chose your Store Folder.

It's a bunch of files. A search for *.dbx should have found them.

You can find the location by using Badboy's suggestion of going to Tools/Options/Maintenance/Store folder button.

Do yourself a favor BACKUP!!!
