On my new pc with win xp pro, I frequently find sites where (like computing.net) the ads load on the page that I am viewing and when I want to go back to the previous page I have to hit the back button twice due to the advertisement on the page I was viewing. This never happened when I was running win 98se on my other pc. Anyone have the same problem or know of any suggestions to try. It gets annoying after a while....UGH.

G'day Bill I had the same problem on other sites, an inquiry with microsoft resulted in the advice that, they know about the problem, the only cure they could offer was to right click on those sites and dodge the adds.
I guess it was a hole in IE, because after updating with sp1, it is gone.
