Anyone else use Azureus, or Vuze as it is now known, for their bittorrent needs? I didn't like Vuze when it suddenly appeared a while, but I put up with it because the old client was still imbedded in there, back but now it appears they've rolled out the full version (3.1.0.0), my ESET Smart Security install has detected adware in it.

I forget the exact filename but it seemed like a java exe and ESEt reported it as being a variant of Win32/AdInstaller. Might have been a false positive I suppose but considering how Vuze presents itself I doubt it.

Anyway, the infiltration was only detected when SS did a scan after I'd installed vuze (if it was there after Vuze auto updated itself I don't know but I did a system format and reinstalled everything yesterday and this morning when eset updated the database it performed a quick scan and caught the apparent adware in the new vuze installation).

Anyway, just wondered if anyone else has detected this. As for me I've switched to uTorrent. Should have done that ages ago, using that makes me realize even before vuze came along how clunky Azureus was.
