AVI Codec Help

Can't seem to figure out how to add the Codec for playing certain AVI video's. The codec I need to load I have identified as the DIVX 3.11. I remember in 98 I just had to right click it and select install. In XP that ain't workin'. Any ideas? Thanks

get the new codec from http://www.divx.com/
it's 3mb and it works fine on xp. loads with a double click

Nimo codec cured all my problems with no sound or no pictures etc..
