I've been using AVG version 6 (free)for years and it worked great. You would do a scan for virus', it would identify them and then usually instuct you to move them to the virus vault.
Recently I updated to the new AVG ver 7. Does anyone understand how the new version works ? I scan for virus's and when its done it really does'nt tell you if it found any , or if it did'nt ?

Downlaoded AVG7 about the end of November, a day or two after the 'ware was put up on the net, and update it regularly. It's getting better at catching stuff.

I just click the OK button unless I want to get any info on the virus it's nabbed.
I've also installed Alwil's !AVAST and have the Lavasoft AdAware.
I haven't had many problems for a couple of weeks now.
Knock on polystyrene!
