Hi. Sorry even the subject is confusing. If i tell you want the end product that is needed perhaps that will make more sense than me rambling on. LOL. What i am trying to achieve is a DVD which i can put into different PC's, all exactly the same model. I want to boot from this DVD, and automatically ghost the image on the DVD to the main hard drive in the PC. This WinXP Pro image will also contain SP2 + current updates, Office XP, Mcafee and a few additional pieces of software. The idea is that only the DVD is required to carry out the installation. I thought perhaps something along the lines of ghost.exe awitches to automatically do this. Really sorry if this made no sense.

Yes, the Symantec Ghost documentation is online and covers this topic. You would have to have a bootable DVD or a floppy that has the correct dvd drivers I'd think.
