Hi, could someone advise me whether such a software of method exists that will allow me to do the below tasks in a single mouse click?

Every morning i have to
1. Open an application (SAP)
2 Enter some details (e.g. date, product)3. Click on a "dowload current stock" button
4. Enter location details to save file to
5. Download and overwrite the previous days stock file with new one (filename constant)
6. Then go to the file folder where the updated stock file and another "master file" exists.
7. The files (.xls) are somehow linked that I must open both the updated stock file and master file in order to let the master update itself from the stock file.
8. I then close all excel and SAP applications and then send a copy of the new master file to people in my team via Outlook.

Ok Experts out there: Is there a way to automate this so I dont have to do it? A bit like photoshop macros/batch scripts?

Its a numbingly boring chore and i would love a WYSIWYG app that just records what i do in the morning and then does it for me.

Any suggestion?

thanks in advance

This aint going to be much help but it is a encouragement to keep looking,

I had a program a couple of years ago that did just that it would record macros of mouse movement and clicks and even keystrokes and replay them. However it wasnt inteligent the window had to be in the exact same location everytime time or it wouldnt work IE mouse would move to same position wether the corresponding window was there or not. I used to use it for Avi to Mpeg converting using TPMG and then to burn to a cd overnight with nero. But really sorry cant for the life of me remember the name of the program or where i got it from.

Keep searching though there is something out there that does exactly what you want. there is a light at the end of the tunnel lol.
