Ok, I would appreciate it if someone could help me ASAP.
I have a Windows XP laptop. I ran a virus scan with Malwarebytes as soon as signs of viruses started to show, and it said that it needed to reboot to finish removing the viruses. So, I let it reboot. As soon as it finished, I tried to log back in. It played the logging in music sound, and I was only able to see my desktop wallpaper for a few seconds before it logged me back out again. I tried using Safe Mode, and I tried the System Configuration thing from the startup F5 or something menu before it finished turning on, but it still logs me out automatically. Same thing happened to me when I tried to log in as "Administrator." Now, I got this computer in June, and I need it to last for me for 4 more years minimum, so all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

"I tried the System Configuration thing from the startup F5 or something menu " It would help if you were specific.
Can you boot to Safe mode? Did you disable System Restore before removing the entries Malwarebytes found?
Just a note on your system Information. The Manufacturer/Model would be Dell and the model not Dell Windows/Windows XP?

I am having a similar issue. When i log in to any account on my xp professional starts to log me then it flashes and suddenly give me the message "saving your user settings" and logs me back out. I tried to log in in safe mode and got the same thing.
