Hi, i'm running XP Pro Corporate and I noticed that the automatic updates option is unavailable ( it's there, just says unavailable). Is there anyway to make it available or does anyone know why it's not available

don't know why it isn't available, on a pc I worked on ,has xp pro ce and automatic updates are there and on. unless you have it disabled- go to control panel-administrative tools-computer management-click the + next to services and applications-then click services-then highlight automatic updates- then right click it-click properties-in startup types -choose automatic ,from drop down list.click apply and then ok.
