We have several workstations which are accessed by almost fifty different people. Instead of having to create an email profile for each user, is there a way to make Outlook automatically create a profile for someone when they first log in? Can this be done by manipulating the default user profile? Thanks

From Outlook help.
If you are prompted to specify a user profile (user profile: Settings that define customization preferences for a particular user, as well as personalized files such as custom dictionaries and AutoCorrect lists. The operating system uses these settings to configure your computer when you log on.) each time that you start Microsoft Outlook, and you want to use one profile routinely, you can specify that one profile is used each time you start Outlook.
Open the Mail Setup dialog box.
In Microsoft Windows XP
In Control Panel, double-click User Accounts, and then click Mail.
Note If you are using Control Panel classic view, double-click Mail.In Microsoft Windows 2000
In Control Panel, double-click Mail.
Click Show Profiles.
Do one of the following:
To specify a profile (Outlook user profile: A group of e-mail accounts and address books. Typically, a user needs only one but can create any number, each with a set of e-mail accounts and address books. Multiple profiles are useful if more than one person uses the computer.) to be used every time you start Outlook, click Always use this profile, and then, in the list, click the profile that you want.To be prompted to select the Outlook user profile to use each time you start Outlook, click Prompt for a profile to be used.
Good Luck, Bob
If you wake up to see the day - it can't be that bad.

Just a note: Each profile will still need to be configured with the user's email account(s). Are you using an Exchange Server by any chance?
